Posted on Thu, Feb 02, 2017 @ 01:50 PM

Living and teaching in Korea creates opportunities to learn a new culture and speak a new language. With this experience arises the chance to make life-long friends across cultural barriers. Like every encounter living abroad, you  have  to put yourself out there and do what the "Romans do in Rome" and as in Korea..."Do what the "Koreans do in Korea."

Chungdahm's 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament Was a Strike

Posted on Wed, Apr 08, 2015 @ 05:48 PM

Just like in America, bowling is a popular sport here in Korea. Within a mile radius of my home, I have about 4-5 bowling alleys nearby that are usually packed during the night time. Luckily for us teaching in Korea, Chungdahm’s Event Planning Team was able to reserve an entire alley (20 bowling lanes) for our company so we could have Chungdahm’s Second Annual Bowl-O-Rama!

Posted on Thu, Jan 31, 2013 @ 03:50 PM

Time is running out. Please stop saying, "Yeah, we will have to do that some weekend." I have exactly 6 weekends left in Korea and each is pretty much full from 8pm on Friday until late Sunday afternoon. I am lucky in that many of my friends in Korea are also leaving close to my departure date. We are all in a rush to eat lots of kimchi, find Psy socks to bring home and most importantly soak up each others awesomeness before we depart for homes scattered all over the globe. And oh yeah, I still have to find the confidence to make a jjimjilbang date. Umm, a little help please?
