The Busan International Fireworks Festival vlog, (Part 1)

Posted on Wed, Nov 06, 2013 @ 04:23 PM

Last weekend, myself and some of the other English teachers from my school decided to attend the Busan Fireworks Festival. This event is a two day event, however, because of work commitments, we only attended on Saturday, which was the finale. It was amazing. The theme this year was war and love, and each set was accompanied with music. The videos say more than words possibly can...

Teach English in Asia, teach English in Soouth Korea, teach in Korea, working for chung dahm, chinngdahm, teach aclipse(One of over 300 pictures - this is my favourite.)

Video One: Preshow...

We arrived around 3pm and got a great spot on the beach, along with the other 150,000+ people. We had a picnic on the beach and waited until 8pm when the show started - the atmosphere was electric.

Video Two: The Countdown...

After many performances (which were amazing) and light shows, finally the countdown began.

Video Three: Classical Set

My next blog will contain some of the best fireworks I have ever seen and will include some of the finale fireworks, which were spectacular. The whole Gwangalli Bridge turned into a waterfall of fire - so awesome!

Teach in Korea!

John May grew up in Dublin, Ireland where he is from & went to Trinity College – one of Irelands best known universities. He graduated from here in November 2012 with a B.A. (Mod) in Geography & Sociology. John has always had a passion for travelling and having been to most of Europe, he decided to explore Asia after Uni. He has always wanted to teach and thought what better way to travel than teaching English on the way. John is currently teaching English for CDI in Daegu, South Korea a position he found through Aclipse; John felt nervous before his departure, but now that he is in Korea he loves every minute of it. For more information follow his blog.
