When moving to a new country one of the most difficult cultural things to learn is eating with other people. Naturally, we can all eat. We can follow our own cultures okay, but even then some people don’t completely understand proper eating etiquette. Some people chew with their mouths open, while others use their clothes as a napkin. While you might not think that these things matter, they definitely matter for other people. Therefore, you should learn proper Korean dining etiquette in order to not look foolish during your time living and teaching in Korea. Visit Yeonnam-Dong While Teaching in Korea: Seoul's Newest "It" Spot

As a foreigner living and teaching in Korea, you will probably get very familiar with the hot spots of Gangnam, Itaewon, and Hongdae in Seoul. All of these places are great for meeting other foreigners, eating non-Korean food, and for bars and clubbing. However, just across the streets from Hongdae, you will find the new spot where foreigners and locals congregate. This new "It" spot is called Yeonnam-dong.

It’s that busy time of the Chungdahm calendar again. Summer intensives, Toefl testing and end of summer semester has arrived. CDI instructors are working hard ironing out those student report cards and preparing for summer intensive weeks. All teachers are in need of some downtime and what better way to enjoy some relaxation than eating delicious food and sharing memories with co-workers at the fancy Vizavi Buffet restaurant in Gangnam.
