Other Countries to Visit while Teaching in Korea

After sharing my experiences in Tokyo with the friends that I have met through ChungDahm, I thought it would be best to highlight some of the other vacation destinations outside of Korea. Some of these we were able to do over a wild and hectic weekend, while the last one, we were able to do over a long holiday. Again, these trips are all possible, but it is definitely beneficial if you live by a major international airport.

An English Teacher's Weekend Getaway to Manila

One of the best thing about living in Seoul is being able to travel to the surrounding Asian countries, even if it's just for a weekend. This past weekend was a quick trip to Manila, Philippines to explore the food, culture and of course lifestyle. Of course, there was barely any sleep involved, maybe two hours in total for the whole weekend. At the very minimum, sleeping on the plane before working a full day.
