By "day trip" I mean just an hour or two of travel from Seoul, with activities that can be accomplished in one day, and time to get all the way home again before bed. Technically, anywhere in the entire country could be seen as a day trip as it's approximately the size of Indiana, but here are my favorite spots that are really easy to get to and from.

Nearly a year ago, I covered the top 5 things to do in Incheon: the world famous Incheon International Airport, Muuido/Wolmido/other surrounding islands, Chinatown/Jayu Park, Bupyeong Underground Shopping Center, and Soraepogu Fish Market. With the start of the spring term, my Chungdahm branch moved locations, opening up in a brand new building in the fancy area of Songdo, Incheon. Only a fifteen minute bus ride away from the area I live in, Songdo claims to be the up-and-coming area for international business in Korea, hoping to take over as the new "it" area.
